Ellembelle DCE, 2 Others Under Investigation Over Missing Excavators

The District Chief Executive of Ellembelle, Kwasi Bonzo, his assistant, and one other person have been subjected to police investigations over some alleged missing excavators.

The Police Service assured that any person implicated in the course of the investigations will be put before a court.

This was revealed by the Ghana Police Service after a newspaper reported that two excavators in the custody of the Ellembelle police in the Western region have disappeared.

This, the police said, is untrue.

“We wish to categorically state that no excavators were handed over to the police by the District Chief Executive of Ellembelle, Kwasi Bonzo or any other person from the Assembly”.

It, therefore, urged the public to disregard the news item.
