Electoral Commission Changes Exhibition Date

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has announced changes in the date for this year’s Provisional Voters Register Exhibition Exercise.

It will now take place from August 20 to August 27, the Commission said as it urged the public to participate in the exercise when the time is due.

“The Commission wishes to inform the general public that in view of the Mop-Up Voters Registration Exercise slated for the 1st to the 3rd of August 2024, the Exhibition of Provisional Voters Register has been rescheduled to take place from 20th to the 27th of August 2024.”

Meanwhile, the EC began accepting applications for vote transfers across the country and proxy voting today, July 3, 2024, at all EC District Offices.

Additionally, it has extended the applications for vote transfer to 25 public universities and prison facilities across the country.

The exercise will end on July 5, while applications for special voting by the media and security agencies will open from July 6 to July 7.
