ECG Transformer Catches Fire at Vakpo Senior High School

A transformer of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has been gutted by fire at the Vakpo Senior High School.

A statement by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) said officers from the Anfoega Fire Station responded to the emergency situation.

“Firefighters from the Anfoega Fire Station swiftly contained an electrical fire involving an ECG transformer at Vakpo Senior High School in Vakpo Todzi.”

It reported zero casualties.

“The fire was fully extinguished without any casualties or further damage.”
