ECG Announces System Maintenance Exercise at Agona and Environs

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced an emergency maintenance exercise in its system for parts of the Ashanti Region.

The exercise is aimed at improving service delivery and is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

The exercise will take place from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The affected areas include Agona Municipal Assembly, Agona Police Station, Agona Zongo, Bipoa Town, Bodomase, Afamso, and surrounding areas.

“ECG regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise,” it said in a notice.
