DVLA Regional Offices To Operate 24 Hours Effective 2026

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced plans to operate round the clock across all it’s regional offices effective next year.

This follows the pilot implementation at the Adentan office.

In a notice it said, “The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) announces that starting from 2026, it will extend its 24-hour operations to its regional offices.”

It also announced that all DVLA offices in the Greater Accra Region will also begin 24-hour operations.

The Authority explained that the initiative is in line with governments agenda to operate a 24-hour economy.

“DVLA believes that a round-the-clock operations at these locations are necessary to effectively serve the public with vehicle registration and driver licensing services.”

It therefore sought the public’s cooperation to ensure the smooth implementation of the initiative.
