Don’t Sell Nsoatreman FC; Fans to Owner

The Supporters Club of Nsoatreman FC has appealed to Ignatius Baffour Awuah, the owner of the club not to sell it off.
The plea follows rumours to the effect that the President is pondering on selling the club after the tragic incident on February 2 involving the killing of a Kotoko fan during a game at Nsoatre.
“In addition to this, we’d like to appeal to our club president, Dr Ignatius Baffour Awuah not to sell or abandon the club at this juncture as it is being circulated in the media space.”
Acknowledging his commitment and investment in the development of Football in the community, the supporters admitted their blunder in failing to offer him support in the face of the legal precadiment in connection with the murder.
“We know the supporter has failed you and we are sorry. We thus request that the entire Ghanaian football fraternity join us in expressing sympathy with Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah.”

His unwavering commitment to the advancement of Ghana football is obvious in his tireless efforts, dedication, and investment in our beloved club’s facilities, which have inspired countless fans and helped build Nsoatreman Football Club and the Nsoatre community into what they are today.”
Francis Frimpong known as Nana Pooley was stabbed to death during a game between Asante Kotoko and Nsoatreman on February 2.
Among the persons who were arrested over the incident was the Club President.
