Dodze-Penyi SHS Headmaster Interdicted for Sexual Misconduct
The headmaster of Dodze-Penyi Senior High School (SHS) has been interdicted by the Ghana Education Service (GES).
The Service cited his alleged involvement in sexual misconduct with some female students of the school.
In a statement, it emphasised that the allegations require urgent investigation.
“The temporary cessation of your official duties is deemed necessary in order to guarantee the integrity of the investigative process and to preclude any real or perceived interference therewith.”
He was accordingly instructed to formally hand over all official duties, responsibilities, records, and any property of the Dzodze-Penyi SHS under his custody to the Municipal Director of Education for Ketu North.
“You are also to vacate the premises of the school from Monday, 8th December 2025, after handing over. Nonetheless, you shall remain available at all material times to assist the competent authorities in the conduct of the investigation and refrain from any form of direct or indirect contact with the female students concerned and any potential witnesses.”
It further affirmed that his suspension does not constitute a determination or presumption of guilt on his part, but is an administrative measure issued in furtherance of due process and institutional accountability.
