38 Submit Nomination Forms For GFA Positions

Thirty-eight individuals have submitted nomination forms for various positions in the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The names published by the GFA on its website by the Elections Committee had Kurt Okraku and football administrator George Kwasi Afriyie as the only candidates eyeing the presidency this time around.

Going unopposed for the GFA’s Women’s Executive Council is Gifty Oware-Mensah.

Mark Addo, Samuel Addo Anim, Eugene Nobel Nii Amon Noel, Gideon Fosu and Alexander Ababio are competing for the three-slot Division One League Club Executive Council, whereas eleven others are vying for the 5-slot Premier League Clubs’ Executive Council positions.

Meanwhile, 19 are battling for the various Regional Football Association (RFA) positions.

According to the Elections Committee of the GFA, the 38 individuals submitted their nomination forms to contest for various positions in the elections at the close of nomination.

The Committee says it will review the received nomination forms before they fix the time and venue for vetting per the roadmap.
