Delta Air Lines and Air Transat Services Will Ease Ghanaian Travellers- Foreign Minister
The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has stated that the introduction of Delta Air Lines and Air Transat services in Ghana will put Ghanaian travellers at ease.
Delta Air Lines began non-stop flights from Accra to Atlanta in the United States of America (USA), which commenced operations on December 1, 2025, while Air Transat will initiate non-stop flights from Ghana to Canada effective June 17, 2026.
Welcoming the two airlines into the country, he outlined the benefits.
He affirmed that this will put Ghanaian travellers at ease and spur economic development.
“These refreshing developments will accelerate our economic diplomacy objectives, boost trade and tourism, and offer value and convenience mainly to Ghanaian travellers.”
