Deadline for Payment of 2025 Mecca Pilgrimage Announced

The Hajj Task Force has announced March 13 as the deadline for the full payment of the Hajj package for 2025.
According to the taskforce, the date will not be extended when it elapses.
“No extension will be made to this deadline and therefore both would-be pilgrims and agents are admonished to operate with this deadline in mind as this is in the supreme interest of all,” the Task Force emphasized in a press statement.
It said this was informed by directives from the Ministry of Hajj and Umra Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which aimed to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated pilgrimage process for this year.
It therefore urged prospective pilgrims and accredited Hajj agents to expedite payments and complete all preparatory procedures within the stipulated timeline.
It further encouraged Hajj agents to take advantage of its implemented measures to assist fully paid pilgrims in acquiring their passports with ease.
It added, “The Taskforce remains dedicated to providing world-class services, ensuring that all Ghanaian pilgrims enjoy a safe, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilling journey.”
This year, pilgrims will pay GHC 62,000 down from GHC 75,000 last year.
According to the taskforce, the aim is to make the pilgrimage affordable, relieving potential pilgrims of financial stress.
