Controller and Accountant-General Strengthens Payroll Checks with Upgraded System
The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has rolled out an upgraded Government of Ghana Employee Payment Voucher Validation Application.
In a statement, it said the upgraded application will be used for the validation and payment of January salaries as well as all subsequent salaries this year, as it urged prompt cooperation to avoid delays in salary processing.
The system is aimed at strengthening payroll checks and improving salary processing, the CAGD justified.
“As part of this upgrade, we have developed and shared step-by-step videos that provide detailed guidance on the new validation procedures.
“These videos have been circulated to validators who have completed and submitted the validator update templates to the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department”
