Coach Mariano Barreto Names 18-man Squad For WAFA Game
Asante Kotoko head coach Mariano Barreto has named his 18-man squad list for their Ghana Premier League match-week 26 game against West African Football Academy SC.
The Porcupine Warriors will be hosting the Sogakope based club at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi for the blockbuster encounter on Saturday.
Asante Kotoko are hoping to secure all the three maximum points to maintain their place on top of the league log.
Goalkeeper Razak Abalora who has been Kotoko’s first choice this season has been dropped from the squad list for the first time under Mariano Barreto as Kwame Baah and Felix Annan get the nod.
Duo Emmanuel Gyamfi and Godfred Asiamah have returned to the squad list after missing out in their last game against Liberty Professionals in Sogakope.
Striker Evans Adomako who has been on the periphery due to injury has also gotten the nod after so many months.
