CAF Unveils Schedule For 2023/2024 Inter-club Competitions
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the schedule for its two inter-club competitions for 2023/24 season.
The competitions will begin on the 18th day of next month and end on the 19th day of May 2024.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirms that Medeama Sporting Club and Dreams FC will represent Ghana in competitions having won the betPawa Premier League and MTN FA Cup respectively.
Per the schedule, both the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup will be played from 18-20 August and from 25-27 August 2023.
Meanwhile, the second preliminary round will take place from 15-17 September and 29 September–1st October 2023.
The teams who will lose in the 2nd preliminary round of the CAF Champions League will be eliminated from the Confederation Cup, while, teams who qualify in the 2nd preliminary round of the Confederation Cup will go directly to the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
The Group stage will be played from 24-26 November 2023 with the season’s final scheduled for 17-19 May 2024.
