C/R: Four Injured after Truck Reportedly Failed Brake and Crashed into Taxi
Four individuals have sustained varying degrees of injuries after a Samsung Yamouzine truck crashed into a Toyota Echo taxi at Kotokuraba in Cape Coast.
The accident on March 11, 2026, is suspected to have been caused by a brake failure.
The injured, including 3 males and a female, were conveyed to Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and Ewim Poly Clinic for prompt medical attention.
The Ghana National Fire Service reported that the accident caused extensive damage to the taxi and partial damage to the truck’s engine.
The fire personnel cleared the debris and moved the vehicles to ease traffic.
“The Ghana National Fire Service continues to promote safety awareness and respond to emergencies in the region,” it emphasised.
