Bridget Otoo Appointed Presidential Staffer

Broadcast journalist Bridget Otoo has landed a new role at the Jubilee House.
She has been appointed Presidential Staffer, Government Communications by President John Dramani Mahama.
According to her, the appointment was earned on merit and provides an opportunity to prove herself.
“This appointment to serve at the Seat of Government as a ‘Presidential Staffer, Government Communications’, although earned on my part through grit, dedication and hard work is still an incredible privilege that I intend to prove myself worthy of, for the duration of my service. “
Bridget was instrumental in the campaign of the National Democratic Congress before the 2024 elections.
Some opposition members resorted to trolling, alleging she was unfairly excluded and denied a government appointment.
However, in her statement, she disclosed she had been sick for weeks and was grateful for her consideration for a role after her recovery.
“So with all the faith and trust I have in the NDC government, I was deeply honoured to be considered for a role in helping shape its mandate, once I was back on my feet.”
She used the occasion to express her gratitude to President Mahama and First Lady Lordina Mahama.
Bridget was similarly grateful to Presidential Advisor and Special Aide to the President Mrs. Joyce Bawa Mogtari, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Stan Xoese Dogbe, the Minister of Government communications, Felix Kwakye Fosu and the NDC grassroots supporters and foot soldiers.
