Breaking News: NPP Chairman Allegedly Murders Wife
Reports reaching Opemsuo News Desk indicate that the New Patriotic Party’s Polling Station Chairman in the Abonsuase Electoral Area in the Ahafo Ano North Constituency has allegedly murdered his wife.
The 52-year-old farmer, Kofi Seidu popularly known as Kukurudu is said to have shot his 35-year-old second wife, Maame Adwoa. The sad incident occurred on Monday 31st October 2022 at their residence in Danyame in the Abonsuase Electoral Area.
Reporting on the Opemsuo News afternoon bulletin, Reporter, Kwabena Agyei (Nana Adeamuoduro), Opemsuo FM News Correspondent gathered that, the accused intended to sell a cocoa farm belonging to him and his two wives, a decision which was vehemently opposed by his wives, leading to the shooting to death of his second wife.
According to the reporter, Kukurudu had already sold one of their two cocoa farms. After declaring his intention to sell the other farm, his wives reported the matter to the Chief of the community to get him to rescind his decision.
Soon after leaving the Chief’s Palace, he went home to meet his second wife and shot her dead.
Kwame Seidu (Kukurudu) was arrested by the residents of the community after attempting to kill his first wife. He is currently in the custody of the Tepa Police Command assisting in investigations
