Black Stars to Participate in a Four-Nation Friendly in June

The Chairman of Black Stars Management, Randy Abbey, has announced the team will be participating in a four-nation tournament in the sixth month of this year.
After winning all two World Cup qualifiers in March, the Black Stars’ next game is slated for September.
The friendly games scheduled to take place in England are therefore seen as perfect opportunities to prepare the team.
“Fortunately, the technical team and the management will have the opportunity of further working on the team because in June we don’t have qualifiers and so we will be playing a four-nation friendly in England and I’m sure it will be an opportunity for the coaches to do some further work on the team.”
He is also hopeful that all injured players will be available for the friendlies.
“We are hoping that some of the players who are injured will be back and we will also have the opportunity to play at least two games before the September qualifiers.”
Ghana bagged six points against Chad and Madagascar to cruise to the top of Group I with 15 points. It is five points away from Madagascar which holds 10 points.
