Black Stars Begin Preparations in Vienna Ahead of Austria and Germany Friendlies

The Black Stars of Ghana have held their first training session in Vienna after officially opening camp ahead of their upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany.
All the invited 26 players have reported to camp on time, with the entire squad taking to the pitch for the opening session as serious preparations begin.
The training supervised by head coach Otto Addo and his assistants, was mainly focused on getting the players in shape and building momentum as the team gears up for the two high-profile matches.
Ghana will face Austria on March 27 in Vienna, before travelling to Stuttgart to play Germany on March 30. The two games are expected to serve as important tests ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The four-time African champions have been drawn in Group L alongside 1966 world champions England, 2018 finalists Croatia, and Panama.
Ghana will open their World Cup campaign against Panama on June 17, before facing England on June 23 and concluding the group stage against Croatia on June 27.
