Bawumia Mourns Passing Of Buhari

Former Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has extended his condolences to Nigerians and the immediate family of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
In his estimation, Buhari was a “fine gentleman” who had the poor at heart.
In a Facebook post, he wrote, “I have learnt with immense sadness, the passing of H.E. Muhammadu Buhari, former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“President Buhari was a fine gentleman, who was passionate about his people, especially the poor. Samira and I extend our condolence to his family and the good people of Nigeria. May the Almighty Allah extend His grace to him and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.”
The former soldier passed away on July 13, 2025, at a clinic in London aged 82.
He was elected President in 2015 after three failed attempts and exited office in 2023 after securing a second term in 2019.
Buhari is survived by a wife and 10 children.
