Bawumia Engages Ghana on Education Policy on Sunday
Following his engagement with the youth on his quest to create four million employment opportunities in his future administration over the country, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is scheduled for another this Sunday.
This time around, his interaction dubbed “PROTECTING FREE SHS, PROVIDING SKILLS FOR JOBS – THE BAWUMIA PLAN” with parents and students will focus on education.
“The Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will engage Parents and Students of this country on 10th November 2024 to outline his plans for the future of Ghana’s education,” this campaign announced in a statement.
At the said engagement, the Vice President who is running for Presidency on the ticket of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) will explain his plan to sustain the Free Senior High School (SHS) and Free TVET policy.
“Also, his broader plans to offer every young person in Ghana the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills he or she needs to live a productive, dignified and fulfilling life will all be outdoored,” it said adding that he will outline his plan to protect and deepen the quality of education in the pre-tertiary sector.
“The Minister for Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum will be making a comprehensive Presentation on behalf of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to shed more light on the reason for NPP’s growing focus on STEM education. Also, SHS graduates will be assured of Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to making tertiary education accessible to every SHS graduate who desires it, and why a student’s inability to pay for university education will no longer be a hindrance.”
This event is expected to be carried live on all major TV and radio stations nationwide and on social media platforms, as well.
