Bawumia Commences Grassroots-focused Tour Tomorrow

Aspiring flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is set to hit the ground running with his formal tour of the 276 constituencies across Ghana.

It will begin on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, and is aimed at touching the grassroots with his campaign to lead the party in the 2028 Presidential Election.

He will have a direct and personal engagement with the Polling Station, Electoral Area Coordinators, Constituency Executives (current & Former), Former Members of Parliament, Former MMDCEs and Patrons & Council of Elders.

A statement by his camp said, “The initiative underscores his commitment to listening, building consensus, and strengthening the Party’s foundation from the ground up.”

“Dr Bawumia looks forward to sharing his vision and collectively working towards a resounding victory for the NPP in the 2028 general elections.”

This comes after the NPP held its balloting process.
