Barbados to Recruit Qualified Ghanaian Allied Health Professionals

An application will open tomorrow for Barbados to recruit interested and qualified Ghanaian Allied Health Professionals.
This is being done in partnership with the Government of Ghana.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health assured that the opportunity is ‘highly rewarding’.
Among the categories of health professionals needed are Cardiac Perfusionist, Electrocardiograph (ECG) Technician, Perfusionist, Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technologist, Physicist 1/11, Audiologist, Diagnostic Radiographer, Occupational Therapist, Respiratory Therapist and Speech Therapist/Speech & Language.
Qualification
Applicants must meet the regulatory requirements of the Allied Health Professions Council and have at least five years of working experience to be eligible for the opportunity.
Application Process
The application will open on April 10, 2026, and end on April 14, 2026.
Applicants are to apply through the Ministry of Health’s Recruitment Portal, https://hr.moh.gov.gh.
“Candidates are required to submit all the necessary documents, including certified copies of qualifications and professional registration, on the day of the scheduled interview.”
It noted that unsuitable applications will not be acknowledged.
Requirements
Each applicant is required to provide:
1. Original/ Two (2) Photocopies of academic certificate,
2. Original/ Two (2) Photocopies of certificate of good standing with the Allied Health Council,
3. Current and Previous appointment letters,
4. Original/ Two (2) Photocopies of certificate of criminal record from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police Service covering the immediate past six(6) months,
5. Original/ Two (2) Photocopies of certificate of change of name, where applicable,
6. Original/ Two (2) Photocopies of the immunisation certificate,
7. Original/ Two (2) Photocopies of the Birth Certificate,
8. Two (2) copies of an up-to-date curriculum vitae,
9. Two (2) reference letters dated within the last six (6) months,
10. An endorsed recent passport-size photograph with a white background,
11. Biodata page of passport with two (2) years validity,
12. Application Form,
13. Any other relevant document.
