B/R: 3 Remanded Over Sampa Chieftaincy Conflict

Three individuals have been remanded into police custody for their alleged involvement in violence that has characterised the chieftaincy Dispute at Sampa in the Jaman North Municipality.
They have identified as Alhassan Issah, Luis Kwame Antwi and Yussif Ahmed.
A statement by the Bono Regional Police Command said they were arrested at their hideouts at different locations in Sampa through an intelligence-led undercover operation on November 4, 2025.
They were arraigned before the Sunyani District Court B on November 5, 2025, on charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, causing harm, causing damage, assault and stealing.
“The Presiding Judge H/W Mr Eric Danning Esq. remanded the suspects into Police custody to reappear in court on 10th November 2025,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, efforts are underway to arrest other accomplices who are currently at large.
