At the 2025 Christmas with Asantehene
In the spirit of Christ’s love, the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, hosted a celebration particularly for staff, courtiers and subjects.
The event happened at the Afia Kobi Park at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on December 25, 2025.
Present at the occasion were Nananom; Kumasi Mayor Richard Ofori Agyeman-Boadi who represented the Ashanti Regional Minister; former Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah; Former Kumasi Mayor Sam Pyne; New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong; Tuareg Chief’s representative in Ghana; and other officials.
Also joining to pay homage were staff of Opemsuo Radio, Bodukwan Multi Fruit Processing Factory, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, Manhyia Palace Museum, Asante Kotoko SC, Manhyia Land Secretariat, Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs and Manhyia Police Division.
The occasion afforded participants the privilege to meet His Majesty in person, pay homage and reaffirm their loyalty.
Others made presentations of gifts.
While patting his workers and courtiers for their dedicated services, Otumfuo rewarded them with Christmas gifts.
