Ashanti Regional Police Commander Cautions Officers Against Involvement in Chieftaincy Disputes

Ashanti Regional Police Commander, DCOP Teye Cudjoe, has cautioned police personnel to refrain from interfering in chieftaincy disputes and instead remain focused on their core duty of serving the community.
He emphasized that officers must avoid entanglement in traditional leadership conflicts and direct their efforts toward maintaining law and order.
Speaking at the commissioning of a newly built police station at Amanpe, a facility donated by Oheneyere Fremah Konadu, DCOP Cudjoe stressed the need for officers to uphold professionalism and neutrality in their duties.
He urged them to adopt a culture of maintenance to preserve police facilities while ensuring their work remains centered on protecting the interests of the public.
The Adanwomasehene and Otumfuo Brempong, Nana Ntiamoah Payin, also echoed this sentiment, advising the police to focus on their responsibilities and urging community members to support law enforcement in promoting peace and stability.
As the Regional Commander, DCOP Teye Cudjoe oversees police operations across the Ashanti Region.
His message reinforced the importance of community policing, responsible management of police resources, and strict neutrality in matters related to chieftaincy affairs.
