Ashanti Regional Minister Condoles with Victims of Adum PZ Fire
The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, has expressed sympathy with the victims of the Adum PZ fire.
The Minister took to his Facebook page on Friday morning to sympathize with the hundreds of traders who have lost their livelihoods in the blaze.
“Sorry to everyone affected.”
He also urged the victims and the general public to cooperate with the firefighters and other security forces at the scene.
“Fire Service and other forces are on the grounds. They need all your assistance and cooperation.”
The fire started on the top floor of a four-storey building housing shops at 4 am, according to eyewitnesses and in no time spread across.
Currently, eight fire tenders have been deployed to the Kumasi Central Business District, battling the blaze.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
