Asantehene Sends Heartwarming Message to Ghanaian Basic Students
The King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has sent a message to Ghanaian basic students throughout the country.
As part of the preparations for the King’s Silver Jubilee on the Golden Stool next year, the Otumfuo Foundation is printing and distributing exercise books containing a message from the King and is adorned with his picture. The plan is to provide these books not only to students in the Asante Kingdom but to those throughout Ghana.
Nana Afia Kobi Prempeh, the Executive Director of the Otumfuo Foundation, made this announcement when she presented 2,000 copies of the books to Otumfuo Brempong Nana Kusi Oboadumon, the Chief of Domeabra in the Ejisu Municipality. The Chief had sponsored the printing and distribution of the books to basic students in his community.
During a handover ceremony in Domeabra, the Executive Director of the Otumfuo Foundation announced that 2,000 copies of the books had been printed and presented to Otumfuo Brempong Nana Kusi Oboadumon, the Chief of Domeabra. He had sponsored the printing and distribution of the books to basic students in his community.
