Asantehene Announces a Responsible Mining Conference

The Occupant of the Golden Stool has announced plans to host a mining conference in the middle of this year.

The said conference will focus on advocating for responsible mining in the country.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II made the disclosure while interacting with the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah on Friday, February 14, 2025.

His Majesty said it is being organised in partnership with the World Bank and other international agencies.

It will be held in June 2025.

“We have planned everything,” he added.
