Asantehemaa Dɔte Yie: Watch Oguaa Flag Dancer Convey Consolation Message to Otumfuo

The little flag performer from Oguaa in the Central Region has conveyed the Paramountcy’s commiseration to the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, over the demise of his Queen, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
The boy who granted his very first performance before the Asantehene during a historic visit to Cape Coast last year, gave his second performance on September 17, 2025, this time at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
He carried a red and black flag which carried his message while energetically paying homage through a performance.
Behind his outfit was an inscription, “Asanteman Oguaaman ma hon hyɛ dzen” to wit “Cape Coast commiserates with Asante Kingdom.”
After his performance, he spread out the flag and read its message.
The delegation from Oguaa was led by the Paramount Chief, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, and the Queen, Nana Ekua Abookye VI.
