Asantehemaa Dɔte Yie: Think Twice If You Are Coming With Ill Intentions – Otumfuo Kyeame

Baffour Kantankrankyi, linguist of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has cautioned against violence and criminal acts during the four-day burial rites of the late Asantehemaa, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.
Encouraging attendees to be on the lookout, the traditional leader warned against all ill intentions.
“Be watchful and take care of yourself. Some people came with bad intentions. Don’t be careless so that we record an incident-free and smooth event.”
He noted that the spirit of Manhyia Palace would haunt anyone who engaged in evil acts.
“The spirit in this house will expose you if you hold any evil intention. Know that you will be prosecuted when caught. That’s why we have security officers all over.”
The carefully planned burial rites will witness a series of activities from September 15 to September 18, when the rites will come to an end.
Her Majesty will be buried on the last day at Breman Baamu.
Filing past is reserved to take place sequentially among dignitaries and the general public from September 15 to 18, between 5 am and 5 pm, except for the last day, when it will end at 11 am to make way for a burial service at 3 pm.
A key point to note is the institution of the restriction on outdoor movement effective 7 pm on September 18 to make way for the burial of Her Majesty.
