Casmiro To Go Absent For Several Weeks- United

Manchester United will miss the services of Carlos Henrique Casimiro in the next couple of weeks, the club has communicated.

This stems from an injury he sustained on Wednesday during the fourth round of the Carabao Cup against Newcastle.

A press statement released by the club disclosed he was with a hamstring injury.

“Casemiro will be out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury suffered during our Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle United on Wednesday. The Brazilian midfielder was withdrawn at half-time due to the issue, and subsequent assessment has revealed a strain that will keep him out for several weeks.”

The defensive midfielder had to be withdrawn in their 3-0 defeat to Newcastle.

It was his first appearance for the Club after missing three preceding games on Wednesday due to an injury he sustained during an international break

This means the 31-year-old who has scored four goals in 12 appearances across all competitions will miss Saturday’s match against Fulham.

The eighth-placed Red Devils have lost five of their 10 premier league games with 15 points.
