Archbishop Duncan-Williams Nominated For GMA after Taste of Sin Starring
The Founder and General Overseer of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has been nominated for cameo actor in this year’s edition of the Ghana Movie Awards (GMA).
It comes after he starred in Taste of Sin directed by Frank Rajah Arase Film and released in 2023.
The revered Minister of the gospel was named among nominees for the 21 categories.
The archbishop featured in the movie which portrayed a journey where temptation meets salvation and discover the power of forgiveness in the face of darkness.
The Award scheme which witnessed a hiatus for two years will this year be held on December 24, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC) to celebrate the creativity and excellence in Ghana’s film industry.
The nominations include Best Picture, Best Actor and Actress in a Leading Role, Best Director, and technical awards like Best Cinematography and Best Sound Editing with notable films and performances from the past year that topped the lists.
“This year’s nominees reflect the incredible talent and hard work of our filmmakers, actors, and technical teams. We’re thrilled to celebrate these accomplishments and look forward to an unforgettable night,” Fred Nuamah, the CEO of the Ghana Movie Awards said.
