Anyidoho: “I Have Not Stopped Anyone From Attending Commissioning Of Asomdwee Park”
Samuel Koku Sitsofe Anyidoho, the former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and now Chief Executive Officer of the Atta Mills Institute says he has not in anyway stopped anybody from attending the incoming commissioning event of the newly refurbished Asomdwee Park.
The Asomdwee Park, where the mortal remains of the late President John Evans Atta Mills was laid to rest, has been in the news for quite some time following a public outcry of the founder of the Prof Mills Institute when it started deteriorating.
He accused the former President John Mahama and the then NDC government of neglecting and leaving the famous Asomdwee Park to rot after several calls on him to intervene.
It however caught the attention of President Akufo-Addo who saw the need to rehabilitate the Park. With all set and done, reports indicate the Asomdwee Park is set for commissioning as part of the 10 year anniversary of the death of the former President.
Mr Anyidoho who was seen as the right hand man of Prof Mills has been accused of mischievously tarnishing the reputation of former President Mahama and wrongfully accusing him of neglecting the Asomdwie Park. The Mills family has recently accused him of tampering with the Park at their blind side while monopolizing its commissioning on 24th July 2022.
But Koku Anyidoho in a rebuttal said he is in no capacity to deny anyone the opportunity to attend the upcoming event and that those accusations are baseless and should be treated with contempt.
He dispelled hiding behind the Atta Mills Institute and the commissioning of the Asomdwee Park to soil the reputation of the NDC. He says the coming event is national in nature to basically project the legacy of the late former President.
