Amaniampong SHS Briefs Asantehene about 2025 Triumphs

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, has received a briefing from the Amaniampong Senior High School about the successes chalked in the previous year.

Led by the Headmistress, Mrs Osei Owusu, the Management and Board of the School visited the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on January 14, 2026, for the first Awukudae Festival.

She outlined the school’s achievements to include the Semi-finals reach in the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) and its victory in the National Robotics Competition.

According to her, their triumph in the robotics competition had earned them a slot in an international competition in the United States of America to represent Ghana.

“As a Category C second cycle institution, these achievements mean a lot to us. It encourages us to push for more,” she said.

They were highly commended by the Asantehene for their feats.
