Alan Cash: IMF Will Help Boost The Economy Effectively

The Trade and Industry Minister, Mr. Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremateng, has disclosed that the NPP government was able to generate a trade surplus during its first term, something that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was unable to do from the beginning.

Mr. Kyekyemateng said, if not for the world pandemic, there was no way the NPP government will go to International Monetary Fund (IMF) for assistance but there is no other choice than to do so.

In an interview with the media, Honorable kyeremateng stated that the government called on IMF because of an aggressive program which needs to take place in the country to boost the economy effectively for the betterment of the nation.
