Akufo-Addo Delivers SONA Today

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to deliver the State of Nation Address (SONA) in parliament today, Friday, January 3, 2025.

This will be his last as President and precedes the dissolution of the Eighth Parliament.

A notice from the Parliamentary Service on Thursday reminded, “Parliament will tomorrow 3rd January 2025, receive His Excellency the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as he presents a message on the State of the Nation.”

This is in accordance with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution.

The address is expected to take place at 10.00 am.
