Aduana Victory Arms Kotoko For Hearts Showdown
Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is certain beyond reasonable doubt that Kotoko’s first victory in five games is a major boost for his next game- a game some football enthusiasts term as super clash.
According to him, his boys have been armed with the needed self-confidence to go into the game at the Len Clay Stadium on December 14 against their fiercest rival, Hearts of Oak.
Speaking at a post-match press conference after his 2-1 win over Aduana at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Stadium in Dormaa, he said confidence will be their strength.
“Now this win has brought some self-belief into the players. They now believe they can do it. They now believe it is doable and can be done. I think we will approach the next game with confidence. I’m sure there will be a lot of smiles and joy at training. Players will be ready to work harder. I think the key thing going into the next game is that everything is doable and that we can do it.”
Meanwhile, head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Aboubakar Ouattara is eyeing all three points away from home.
“Why not, why not, why not, are you thinking we are going to play because I need a draw, I want the three points?”
