Accra Sports Stadium Undergoing Structural Audit- NSA

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has announced that the Accra Sports Stadium is undergoing a structural audit.

The venue will therefore not be available to host any domestic game, it noted in a press statement ahead of Heart of Oak’s home game against Nations FC on Thursday.

The Authority in a press statement said a late notice about the game was sent in by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), however, it was concluded that it would be practically impossible for the game to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“In this regard, the NSA will like to confirm that the Accra Hearts of Oak vs. Nations F.C match will not be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.”

It continued, “Furthermore, all other fixtures including the weekend game between Accra Hearts of Oak S.C. and Medeama F.C. will only be sanctioned after the structural audit which is ongoing has been completed with recommendations.”

The Phobians have now resorted to the Tuba Astro-turf for their game tomorrow.
