A/R: Upstream Challenge Causing Power Disruption- ECG

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has cited upstream challenges as the cause of power disruptions in parts of the Ashanti Region.

Currently plunged in darkness are parts of Greater Kumasi, Barekese Headworks, Tetrem, Ahenkro, Kodie, Mankranso, Kunsu and surrounding areas.

In a notice, it assured swift rectification of the issue.

“ECG wishes to assure affected customers that our Engineers are standing by to restore supply as soon as the challenge is rectified.”

It also apologised, saying, “ECG regrets the inconvenience caused to the affected customers.”
