A/R: See Areas to Be affected By ECG’s Planned Maintenance Slated for Thursday

Four communities within the Ashanti Region are expected to experience a power outage from 9 am to 4 pm on Thursday.

This is due to a planned maintenance exercise by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

In a notice issued on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the ECG said the planned maintenance works are necessary to improve service delivery.

“This will result in a temporary outage… ECG regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise.”

The affected areas include Sawua, Nahinso, Homanrase, Prabon and surrounding areas.
