A/R: Fire Destroys Vehicles at Magazine Auto Shop

A fire broke out at an auto mechanic shop in Magazine New Road Zone 11 near Akwasi Oppong, destroying over 10 vehicles.

The blaze on March 13, 2026, destroyed several vehicles, including 7 sprinter buses, 2 Nissan Urvan, 2 Toyota Land Cruisers, 1 Benz bus, 4 engine blocks, and a container warehouse.

Firefighters from Manhyia and Komfo Anokye stations responded quickly, containing the blaze and preventing it from spreading to nearby structures.

No casualties were reported, but the cause of the fire is under investigation.
