A/R: ECG Blames Network Failure for Power Disruption

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) says a network failure is causing power disruptions in parts of the Ashanti Region.

The power outage is particularly in the Ashanti South Region.

Affected communities are Abono, Obo, Nyametease, UNICEM, Kuntenase and surrounding areas.

In a notice, it said its engineers were working to restore power as it apologised for the inconvenience.

“ECG wishes to assure affected customers that our engineers are working assiduously to restore supply as soon as possible.”
