A/R: ECG Announces Planned Maintenance on Thursday

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has planned maintenance works to improve service delivery within the Ashanti Region.

The exercise will take place on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

This will result in a temporary outage from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, the Company announced in a statement on April 7.

The affected areas include Akrowa, Kodie, Apagya, Akrofrom, Patasi, Aduman, Aduamoah, Denase, Akom, Nkwantakese, Pampatia, Boamang, Amoako, Tetrem, Dwamena Akenten SHS, Offinso, Namong, Kokote, Kayera, Parts of Barekese, Abira and surrounding areas.

“ECG regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of this exercise.”
