A/R: Burkinabe Arrest Among Busted Illegal Miners at Bronikrom – Hwediem

A Burkinabe has been arrested among illegal miners busted at Bronikrom – Hwediem in the Ahafo Region.

This followed a raid by the NAIMOS taskforce.

According to the Government Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the area has since been rid of galamseyers.

“This time they flushed out illegal miners at Bronikrom – Hwediem, in the Ahafo Region.

“They arrested Galamsey operators including a Burkinabe, at a Galamsey site about 10 meters from the main HWEDIEM – GOASO Highway.”
