NSS: Payment Of Allowance Done, Will Reflect On Wednesday

The National Service Scheme (NSS) has relayed it has paid the January allowances of National Service Personnel.

Speaking in a media interview, the Director of Corporate Affairs at the National Service Scheme, Armstrong Esaah, noted that the payment has not reflected in personnel accounts yet.

But assured that the reflection will take effect on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.

“National Service Personnel will be paid latest by mid this week which is Wednesday. It’s even been paid but hasn’t reflected in their E-zwich account that is why we have given ourselves tomorrow and wednesday.

“I can confirm it to you and state it as a fact that by Wednesday, all National Service personnel who have filled and submitted appraisal forms would receive their January allowance.”

With regards to defaulted February allowance, the NSS stated that it is an inch close to paying that too.

“Regarding the February allowance, steps have already been taken and the steps are in their advance stage now. Processing is almost complete and we are looking forward to making their payment soon after the January allowances are paid”.
