Menzgold Begins Final Payment Phase Of “Aggrieved” Customers Today
Defunct gold trading company, Menzgold says it will commence final phase payment of its customers from today, December 20, through to the end of June 2022.
The company also released names of some 181 customers whose payment will be effected.
According to the management of the company, the payments will be made to the individuals through bank deposits as per the advice given by the Ghana Police Service. This is to prevent cases of criminal attacks, prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and avoid crowd management crisis.
The statement noted that “all vetted creditors who have been listed above would be contacted via telephone by our authorised company representatives, with dedicated phone numbers that would be made public for the provision of bank details for payments to be made.
“Vetting of all claims supporting documents received is still very much in progress, shortly after we’re able to successfully complete this very meticulous, systematic, and very important exercise, we shall proceed to publicize all the tallies compiled as indicated in our 7th October 2021 publication prior.
