4 Countries Grant Ghana 532,000 AstraZeneca
Four (4) international countries have donated a total of 532,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines to the Government of Ghana.
They come from Governments of Denmark, Norway and Germany, the Ministry of Health announced in a Facebook post.
The vaccine was received through the COVAX facility.
The donation is to support the nation’s wide vaccination program, MOH indicated.
On September 26, 2021, Ghana received 1.5 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccines from Germany.
Ghana is also looking forward to 1.3 million Pfizer vaccines from the United States of America, after taking delivery of some 1.2million Moderna Vaccines on September 4 from the same source.
