Driver Arrested For Stuck Truck

Isaac Ayittey, driver of a truck with registration number WR 1546-U has been arrested by police after his truck got stuck under the Hong-Kong footbridge on the George Walker Bush motorway.
The Lowbed truck was loaded with equipment which made it difficult to pass smoothly under the footbridge on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
Assisted by the Ghana Highway Authority and welders, the police were successful at removing the truck to allow free flow of traffic.
The driver was arrested while the truck was impounded. Both are at the Odorkor Police Station for further investigation.
