The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has taken up the ‘Do or Die’-Mahama challenge for the 2024 Presidential Election.
Deputy General Secretary of the NPP, Nana Obiri Boahen, in an interview indicated that the party is taking the “threat” up as a pre-warning.

“Whether ‘do or die’, or ‘do and die’ or ‘die and do’, the bottom line is that to be ‘forewarned is forearmed. He is signing a cheque of warning to us that in 2024, we must be battle-ready. Unfortunately, he has given us the hint and we will also be battle-ready. It is as simple as that”, he said on Ultimate FM.

He conceded that the words of the former President have no security implication but added, “bring it on. He (Mr. Mahama) should mobilize his people to bring it on and we will abate the nuisance to his satisfaction.”
“He (Mr. Mahama) cannot bully us, he cannot intimidate us. Bring it on, we will also respond. “, he noted.

Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama in a radio interview declared the 2024 Presidential election “a do or die’ affair since he has no intention of petitioning the Supreme Court over election results again. According to him, he will make sure to win at polling stations and collation centers
