Mahama Declares 2024 Election “Do or Die”

Former president of Ghana and National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer for the 2020 presidential election, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, has vowed not to petition the Supreme Court over election results for the second time.
Quoting former Electoral Commission Chairman, Dr. Afari-Gyan in an interview, he emphasized that his party will win at the polling stations and collation centers.
“‘It will be do or die’. I did not say “all die be die” but ‘do or die’. We will win at the polling station. We won’t go to the Supreme court, we will do everything to make sure the election is free, transparent, and fair at the polling station and the collation center”, he indicated.
According to him, his party has no intention to cheat in the 2024 election.
“We won’t cheat the NPP and we don’t want any party to cheat us. It should be fair. Let the choice of Ghanaians be elected”, he stated.
